Creation of Cordal Plectre de Cambra is a direct result of the huge musical and educational work developed by Maestro Antonio Pérez Llopis in his 30 years leading the Artística Nulense Music Society’s lute orchestra Daniel Fortea. In fact, the four ensemble members have been forming part of this group, where they started their musical training and they have performed all over
The group is formed by:
Javier Blasco Montolio, bandurria, lute and mandolin.
José Vicente Navarro Ventura, mandolin.
Ricard Herrero Aràmbul, bandurria, lute and mandolin.
Pasqual Casabó Escrig, guitar and bass.
Cordal Plectre de Cambra performed their first concert in Nules, the last December 12th 2009, and their repertoire consists mainly of well-known pieces of classical music, which they give a very personal performance, with a soft sound achieved with the use of single string, also applied in a particular way to plectrum instruments, and the richness of tones associated with the wide variety of instruments used, always choosing the most suitable combination for each particular work.
